At 4:30 p.m. on October 20, Pujiang Institute and Panyapiwat Institute of Management Thailand (PIM) jointly held an online English exchange activity. Dr. Jochen Amrehn,the VP of Pujiang, Liu Bin, the Deputy Director of the International Affairs Department, 15 students from all majors of Pujiang, PIM’s faculties and 64 students participated in the exchange.

  Firstly, VP Dr. Jochen Amrehn delivered a welcome speech. He extended a warm welcome to all the faculties and students attending the meeting, and thanked the colleagues and students who planned this activity. Next, Professor Sirinun Krisnachinda of PIM delivered a welcome speech. She emphasized the close relationship between China and Thailand, said that the communication distance between young people was not a problem, and expressed her expectation for Pujiang students to go to PIM for exchange study.

  Then the faculties of the two institutes introduced the characteristics of their respective institutions.

  Next, the two hosts of PIM carried out the ice breaking activity. Each student was divided into groups and expressed their own views. The students were divided into three groups.

  Finally, Deputy Director Liu Bin of the Department of International Affairs summarized today's exchange activities. He first affirmed and appreciated the students' enthusiastic speech and the results of the report, and put forward his hope for the students in the next step: to hope that students will be more independent, more in-depth exploration and thinking about problems. Liu Bin encouraged students to strengthen their innovative practical ability and promote self-improvement.

  The successful holding of this activity has strengthened the cooperation, exchange and contact between Pujiang and PIM. It enriches the experience of cross-cultural communication among students and broadens their horizons. It is believed that there will be more and more smooth exchanges between the two universities in the future.
