From March 25th to 26th, Dr. Gerald, representing the Upper Austria University of Applied Sciences, visited our school for exchange and cooperation. This visit not only bolstered the partnership between our institutions but also laid the groundwork for diverse future exchanges.

President Lin Pinghua showed warm welcome to Dr. Gerald’s visit, and unfolded in-depth discussions on the current cooperation status, future development directions, and common concerns of both universities. President Lin Pinghua also expressed his hopes for further cooperation between two universities.

Following this, Dr. Gerald, accompanied by the staffs from International Affairs Office of Pujiang Institute, took a tour of the campus. He lauded the picturesque surroundings and state-of-the-art facilities of Pujiang Institute, while also getting briefed on the upcoming second edition of the Supply Chain Summer School slated for September this year. Throughout the tour, Dr. Gerald engaged in discussions and coordination with International Affairs Office, ironing out details like venue arrangements and curriculum to ensure the smooth execution of the summer school.

Additionally, Dr. Gerald inked agreements pertaining to student exchange between Nanjing Tech University Pujiang Institute and the Upper Austria University of Applied Sciences, opening up broader academic opportunities and exchange platforms for students from both sides. The pioneer exchange student from Pujiang is set to embark on a one-year study exchange journey in Austria in the coming September.

Finally, Dr. Gerald delivered a lecture on logistics, sharing his rich experience and insights in the field of logistics and providing valuable learning resources for students.

Dr. Gerald's visit not only cemented the collaboration between two universities but also provided our students with enhanced international exposure and learning opportunities, laying a robust foundation for long-term growth. It is believed that with the joint efforts of both sides, the cooperation between two universities will achieve even more fruitful results.
