On November 20, a delegation led by Tang Tian, Vice President of GuiYang Healthcare Vocational University and member of the University Party Committee, visited our university for collaborative exchange. The delegation included Chen Yongli, Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, Zhou Li, Dean of the School of Nursing, and Du Jin, Section Chief of the Comprehensive Division of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office. Party Secretary and President of our university Lin Pinghua, Party Committee Member and Assistant to the President Zhu Xindi, and Deputy Director of the International Affairs Department Zhu Hongqing warmly welcomed the visitors with hospitality.

President Lin Pinghua expressed warm welcome and offered a detailed introduction to our university in the exchange meeting. He highlighted the educational philosophy, major offerings, and distinctive achievements of our university. Notably, President Lin shared insights into innovative initiatives, such as the development and training of dormitory leaders.

Vice President Tang Tian followed with an overview of GuiYang Healthcare Vocational University, sharing its development journey, academic strengths, and efforts in talent cultivation. Tang emphasized the purpose of the visit, which is to strengthen ties between the two universities, foster mutual growth in education, and explore opportunities for deeper collaboration.

The meeting also included a productive dialogue between our International Affairs Department and Guiyang’s Office of International Exchange and Cooperation. Both sides exchanged views on topics such as joint program development and resource sharing, reaching broad consensus on future cooperation.

Following the morning session, the delegation toured our campus, visiting various facilities and learning about our cultural and academic environment. The guests commended the university for its excellent infrastructure and commitment to fostering a vibrant campus culture.

In the afternoon, with the assistance of the Nanjing Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, the delegation visited Taikang Xianlin Drum Tower Hospital and toured Taikang Community Su Garden. Discussions during the visit centered on student internship and employment opportunities, as well as potential areas for collaboration. The delegation was particularly impressed by the hospital’s state-of-the-art medical equipment, professional healthcare teams, and patient-centered care philosophy.

This visit deepened the connection between the two universities and laid a solid foundation for future collaboration. Our International Affairs Department remains an open and inclusive attitude, striving to build stronger partnerships and promote mutual progress in education and development.
